This comprehensive course of six sessions is perfect if you’re a therapist really wanting to get into the detail of your practice, and you would like to rely on the tried and tested programme that I’ve developed to support practitioners who would like structure in the support their receive. You will benefit from my experience, research and knowledge, and in depth support through the process.
This programme consists of six fifty minute sessions, and is supported through worksheets, exercises and emails between sessions. We meet once a month, and work through a series of focused sessions to develop an intentional therapeutic business that you can rely on, so that you feel settled to deliver your therapeutic work with confidence and clarity.
This programme helps you to identify and define a therapeutic identity and a core purpose to your work - whether you’re just starting out, or in practice and looking to revitalise your business - this is the stuff I’m really excited about!
The six sessions focus on the following:
2 ESSENTIALS - in this session, we begin to create the structure of your business. We think of the all the ‘have to dos’ of a therapeutic business, including your professional responsibilities and safeguarding procedures. We start thinking about your tech package and online presence, including website. We set your price point, delving into money mindset, challenging money blocks, and recognising the value of your work.
1 FOUNDATIONS - in this first session, we dive straight in! We identify the focus of your business, your core values, your niche or niches, establish your goals, acknowledge possible blocks and sabotages, and how we might begin to really use your strengths! We also get those basic details of your business nailed down, so we can move forward from the beginning with clarity.
4 CONNECT - with a really solidly established business core and therapeutic identity, we’re ready to think about looking outwards. In this session, we talk about connecting - both with clients, and also with other professionals. This session is bursting with info and tips for all things marketing and networking. We talk about how you will support the business you have built with ways to ethically engage your audience. And we talk about social media - considering the platforms you want to utilise, and how you can get the most out of them.
3 PROCESS - building on the excellent work we did last session, we’re now going to look at the client experience through working with you. We talk paperwork and paperless, intake and business process, and find the answers to the nitty gritty questions of your business operations. We walk through your client’s experience - from the very first moment that they make contact with you, until your work together is complete and you end your contact with each other, to ensure that this process is as smooth and intuitive as possible. This is the session that really answers all the questions that begin with ‘how’?
5 PREPARE - we’re getting close to launch, and we’re really consolidating all our hard work and collaboration over the last four months. In this session, we encapsulate everything we have created for your business into core messages. We talk about advertising and professional profiles, and how to communicate your authentic practice to others, so they ‘get it’. We also focus on your social media, consider different content you will create, build your templates, and get you comfortable with the visuals you will use to share your practice with your audience, and with potential clients. We run through the final checks for your practice, ready to accept clients.
6 SUSTAIN - we’ve worked hard together, and we’ve built something really exciting and inspiring! The focus on this session is on how we can maintain enthusiasm and activity in your business. We check out your sabotages, and build awareness of how we can meet them with positive action. We look at the intentions we put in place for your business, and consider how future growth can stay in alignment with your goals and values. Maintaining drive and clarity in your business is a marathon not a sprint, and we look at how the work we have done will support in you avoiding burnout. We’re specific in considering your business self care plan, to set you up for ongoing success and satisfaction.
I hope you can tell from the course outline just how I much love doing this part of my work. It’s focused and fun, collaborative, and has that killer combo of big picture and small detail. I share my own experience, as well as my experience of supporting others to develop their practice, and it gives me the opportunity to do one of the things I LOVE to do - cheerlead for the success of other people!
The package includes our six sessions, session overview and focus setting email after each session, email support between sessions, and worksheets and reflective exercises to keep you inspired and on track.
